Horrors in design and/or construction have an explanation, believe it or not.
Guilty? Who or what are the culprits?
1) Architect, won the degree by lottery or bought it at the flea market (I know a lot)
2) Builder or mason, he learned from other masons, just as bad as him
3) The owner who asks for what is seen, the one who has the money commands and pays. But some have deplorable taste and aesthetics. Perhaps you asked for a discount of 50% or more... and you got the discount, in PRICES AND QUALITY.
